Peter Harrison, Managing Director

Aka ‘The Captain’

Peter runs Milestone as a tight ship and ensures everyone here feels valued, happy and understands the vision.

The result is a down-to-earth, family orientated team with the combined drive that has made us a major player in the UK industry.

Peter has made flooring his life’s work, but loves spending his time hiking in the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Every single installation is executed to his exacting standards, delivering seamless service and fantastic floors every time.

Zoe Harrison, Finance Director

AKA ‘Queen Organiser’

An organiser at heart, Zoe helps ensure every project we take on at Milestone runs smoothly from start to finish.

As Financial Director, Zoe keeps Milestone running smoothly, managing the customer and accounts teams, along with HR. All on top of managing and balancing the lives of the large and lively Harrison family!

Following a Degree in Psychology and Criminology, Zoe spent a decade in the prison service, working with offenders. She joined Milestone in 2012 and loves working alongside her husband Peter, as well as her close-knit team.

Nick Yarsley, Sales Manager

AKA ‘The Frontman’

As Sales Manager, Nick has worked closely with our entire team and some of our biggest customers for over 11 years.

A Milestone veteran, with a long background in the paint industry behind him, he is passionate about achieving top-quality installations and never lets a challenge get in his way.

Nick is known for his strategic thinking, always having a smile on his face, and his talent for mischief.

When he’s not being a nuisance around the office, he loves travelling with his family.

Kurt Singleton, Sales Manager

AKA ‘Mr. Barista’

Among many other talents gained over 36 years in flooring, Kurt’s a pro at keeping the team well caffeinated.

Sales manager Kurt has a perfectly equal split of flooring experience, having spent his first 18 years on installation before moving up the ladder to management for the past 18.

He spends most of his time at work on sales; winning awesome new contracts, then estimating and specifying the systems for them. He mucks in with site management and assistance too.

We couldn’t do without his decades of expertise and willingness to share knowledge. Even after all the years, he still gets excited every time a top quality installation is completed.

Edward Booth, Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Aka ‘The IT Guy’

Edward supports Huddersfield Town, but we don’t hold it against him.

Model student Edward gained a First in Business management at Leeds Trinity University, and joined Milestone for his first full-time position. He’s responsible for our marketing and social media – creating and publishing exciting new content as well as coming up with a winning strategy.

He also works as the main link for the sales team, running the processes that link data together and ensure our records are kept up to date and inline.

And as if that wasn’t enough, he’s on hand for our IT support as and when it’s needed in the office.

Connor Hughes, Client Relationship Manager

AKA ‘The Tackler’

Connor loves people and as such his focus within Milestone is to build strong customer relationships. Before joining Milestone, he played rugby for Castleford Tigers, and he has worked in different sales roles within the automotive and construction industry.

In his spare time you can find him either training at the gym or obsessing over fast cars.

Dave Chapman, Health and Safety Manager

AKA “The Watchdog”

With over 15 years of Health and Safety management under his belt, you’re in safe hands when you work with Dave.

From a career in the Army to working at Galliford Try and then fully qualifying as a Health and Safety adviser in 2004, Dave has spent his entire career keeping people safe.

Along with generating Risk Assessments and ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed. He’s never happier than when he knows everyone is programmed in and working safely at full capacity.

Dom Rogers, Contracts Manager

Aka ‘Problem Shooter’

Dom came straight to us from the Royal Marines, and quickly worked his way up from installation to management.

Dom is a seriously fast learner. His problem-solving prowess and ability to liaise with clients showed he had what it took to join our management team after just 7 months working on installation.

As Contracts Manager, Dom’s in the business of organisation. He spends his time surveying sites, meeting clients and managing the installation teams; dealing with any issues that may arise along the way.

Paul Wrack, Contracts Manager

AKA ‘The Explorer’

When he’s not scoping out the fine detail of a new project or contract, you’ll find Paul out discovering new places.

Paul supports both our clients and the team from the start of every new project to the final finished product.

A self-confessed traveller, he loves exploring new places and meeting new people with his wife, Louise, who is our Data & Supplier Administrator.

Louise Toddington, Customer Account Manager

AKA ‘Chatterbox’

Louise has been working with figures for her whole adult life.

There’s nothing Louise doesn’t know about accounts – she’s done it all, from purchase & sales ledger to credit control and payroll.

She spends her days at Milestone dealing with everything financial; managing customer accounts, arranging credit and insurance, raising invoices and most importantly making sure everyone gets paid correctly.

Louise’s skills extend to outside the company with a passion and a talent for cake making.

Louise Wrack, Data & Supplier Administrator

AKA ‘Helping Hands’

Louise has a background in travel and lettings, so is well used to ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Our office-based heroine, Louise deals with all our administration, holds the purse strings to the purchase ledger and handles the huge variety of tasks we throw at her (not often literally) with a smile on her face.

It’s fair to say she really does love helping others.

Dan West, Senior Estimator

Aka ‘The Thinker’

Dan never stops learning about new flooring systems and ways to solve problems before they arise.

Dan has been in the flooring industry for 14 years, progressing upwards to his senior estimating position.

He spends his days assessing tender documentation and sifting through sales leads, as well as dealing with the all-important quantities of material, labour and other elements. Dan turns a bundle of facts and figures into a detailed description of works and costs for our clients.

It’s no surprise then that he’s a seriously solution orientated member of the team.

Dominic Yarsley, Warehouse Manager

AKA “Mr Get-it-done”

Hardworking and a true team player, Dom believes in the value of a job well done.

With a background in a variety of industries, including the automotive industry, haulage, glazing and retail, Dom Y (as we like to call him) brings a wide range of experience to Milestone.

As Warehouse Manager, Dom deals with ordering and managing stock, selecting the right materials for our customers and PAT Testing. Everything he does, he does to the highest standard.

Matt Clark, Quality Assurance Manager

AKA ‘The Multitasker’

Matt loves a lively office debate to work through any problem.

After successfully completing 16 years’ service in the Royal Engineers, Matt came to us from the Oil and Gas Industry where he specialised in the important area of health and safety.

At Milestone he is responsible for our quality assurance within our company processes as well as externally with our site compliance.

At the moment he’s taken on the rewarding challenge of helping us to work towards ISO 9001 & 14001: 2015 certification.

Milestone are extremely proud to be a platinum sponsor for the Ocean Revival 2020 charity row across the Atlantic Ocean. Supporting our own contracts manager, Dom Rogers, in his quest along with his crew members to achieve something that has never been done before, in rowing 3700 miles from New York to London Bridge dubbed ‘the worlds most dangerous row’.

The row is designed to raise support and awareness for two very significant charities, the Royal Marines Charity and Plastic Oceans UK. The Royal Marines Charity is something very close to the heart of the 4 members having all served as part of the Royal Marines, and as such are inspired to raise awareness and support for those that need it.

Plastic Oceans UK are raising awareness of plastic contamination in the oceans and the harm it is causing to our wildlife. This is an issue that will not only affect us but generations to come. Milestone wholeheartedly support the Ocean Revival 2020 challenge and urge everyone to support it and think about how they can reduce their plastic waste and dispose of it responsibly.
